Since its founding in 1991, RoTo Architects has understood the necessity of sustaining the integrity of a client’s long-term vision in a short-cycle world. Led by Architect-Educator Michael Rotondi, FAIA, the RoTo team brings trans-disciplinary knowledge and technical expertise to every aspect of a project, working collaboratively to synthesize all elements into a high-performing whole.
Michael Rotondi is the Founder and Principal of RoTo Architects, based in LA. He was also a founding Partner of Morphosis Architects (1975-1991) and a co-founder at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), where he was Director from 1987-1999 and continues to teach. SCI-Arc’s Resilient Futures Task Force is a dedicated initiative composed of architects and educators offering resources to communities impacted by the devastating fires in Los Angeles. By leveraging expertise and collaborations with professionals in architecture, design, engineering, landscape, ecology, and technology, its aim is to assist affected communities in rebuilding and creating more fire-resilient environments.
